The colour you select for your brake callipers will be reproduced as an accent colour, both inside and outside the car. On the exterior, it takes the form of a laser-like stripe on the body kit below the front bumper, below the side sills on each side of the car and across the top of the rear spoiler.

This is a Bentayga S, which means that all the exterior detailing is rendered in black as standard. But it doesn’t end there. For the first time ever on a Bentley, both the ‘BENTLEY’ wordmark on the tailgate and the Bentley badges themselves have been turned black to match.

The impactful accent colours on the outside of the car are carried through into the handcrafted cabin, where contrast stitching, contrast piping and accent-coloured sections of the leather trim come together to achieve the same searing effect. 

The Bentley design team has created an exclusive hide colour layout for the Bentayga S Black Edition, allowing the perfect combination of bright and dark. Each seat, meanwhile, is embroidered with a black ‘S’ emblem. 

A new carbon fibre weave has been used on the fascia, centre console and waistrails. The weave adds visual depth to the fascia, providing the perfect backdrop for the Black Edition badge, which is inlaid beneath the lacquered surface to preserve the flush finish. 

The Dark Chrome pack has been included as standard. This means that much of the interior metal detailing – the bullseye air vents, their organ stop controls and the centre vents – has been changed from its usual chrome to black.

Powered by Bentley’s advanced, twin-turbocharged 4.0 litre V8 engine, the Bentayga S Black Edition can take you from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 180 mph, thanks to its incredible 542 bhp.

Designed to provide access to cities with ultra-low emission zones and offer a truly serene drive when travelling on electric power only, the 3.0 litre V6 plug-in hybrid powertrain can propel you to a top speed of 158 mph and cruise at speeds of up to 84 mph on electric power alone.  

Choose the V8 configuration and you will have access to the car’s thrilling enhanced Sport mode*. Designed to transform the way your Bentayga drives in an instant, it optimises settings for the engine, transmission and chassis for exhilaration.

There is no mistaking the unique character of a V8 engine’s exhaust note – and with the Sports Exhaust* fitted to all V8-powered Bentayga S Black Editions, that incredible sound is pushed to the limit.

V8 vehicles benefit from Bentley Dynamic Ride*, a 48-volt electronic anti-roll system that stiffens the suspension when cornering hard, to maximise control and stability, without compromising on the comfortable ride you expect when cruising in a straight line.

All vehicles fitted with Bentley Dynamic Ride also feature all-wheel steering*. This feature reduces the car’s turning circle at low speeds, to maximise manoeuvrability in tight spaces. At higher speeds, it allows you to glide smoothly from lane to lane, keeping the vehicle stable throughout.

The Bentayga S Black Edition is equipped with a sophisticated suite of connected services. Some are accessed via the in-car infotainment system and others via the My Bentley smartphone app, offering a seamless experience, however you prefer to use them. For example, Online Destination Import feature in the app lets you search for destinations on your phone, then ‘push’ them to your Bentayga’s navigation system – so there’s no need to enter destination names on the central touchscreen.

The Bentayga S Black Edition is fitted with a range of driver assistance features*, including the ability to help you park. With the Intelligent Park Assist** feature, accessed from the My Bentley app on your phone, you don’t even need to sit behind the wheel as you monitor the vehicle. In tight spaces where opening the door might damage your Bentayga, you can get out before beginning the manoeuvre and use your phone to control it as it parks.

Whenever you are in a confined area, your Bentayga will sense potential hazards and alert you if a collision looks likely, while providing you with a real time, three-dimensional view from all of its four cameras. It all adds up to a much easier experience when driving in town.

The optional Touring Specification enhances the driving experience with the addition of technologies focused on the open road. In addition to a head-up display and a night vision camera, it provides Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Guidance, which lets you take your feet off the pedals during long drives, offering alerts and feedback to help you stay in your lane throughout. Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control* helps you maintain an appropriate speed on other major roads, slowing down automatically when necessary, in order to negotiate junctions safely.

There are three audio systems to choose from, starting with the Bentley Signature Audio system. The Bang & Olufsen for Bentley system takes sound quality to another level, while also featuring stunning illuminated speaker grilles, while the Naim for Bentley system represents the ultimate in automotive sound quality.
